Who’s buzzing about your blog?

ß

Is this something that you want to know, how about your visitors, do they want to know how well thought of or referenced you are in OPB (that’s Other People’s Blogs). I’ve found this widget that seems to do the trick.

It’s a little bit of Javascript code that you can pick up from the widget creators at http://www.mybuzzmonitor.com/.

You can probably see in my sidebar that I have it installed and the only one buzzing about this blog is… well me at the moment (but this will change eventually). You add keywords that you want to monitor and it will show either links (L) or blogs articles (B).

Could be a useful tool.

  • Monetize your blog with PPP
PayPerPost (PPP) offers people with blogs the opportunity to earn while the write by paying a fee for sponsored posts. Unlike some other providers, PPP only charge a service markup of 35% per offering. There are a number of players in the market place that help bloggers to monetize their blog. Some pay a fixed fee per post, others offer different prices for each post, and it is possible (I've seen the opportunities) to be...

By following someone, you get to see their status updates on your twitter home page. Suite of options make...
  • Blog Downtime
Due to problems with our current web hosting provider the regular blogs on this domain, stirlyn.co.uk, organix.stirlyn.co.uk, reviews.stirlyn.co.uk, techno.stirlyn.co.uk may not be currently available. This has been since 1 Dec 2007. Rest assured I am working furiously (and very angrily) to resolve the issue and will get the sites back up and running as soon as possible. If you are a sponsor who has had sites, services reviewed by me in the past, the posts...
  • PayPerPost Pays you to review blogs
PerPerPost (PPP), the online service that pays bloggers to add sponsored posts to their blogs has introduced a new income stream for bloggers and the people that visit your site. The idea is particularly beneficial for blog owners, as the process helps to increase links to their site from others in the blogsphere, which in turn creates higher visibility of their site especially in the major search engines. You get paid, they get paid This...
  • What’s new
So, the upgrade has finished and although I still have a few pages to transfer across, I am happy with the site, which is now running on [tag]Wordpress Mu[/tag]. Why the change from Wordpress to Wordpress Mu? I didn't want this site to have any technology (coding) based articles on it, as that is too much related to my Job, however I found myself wanting to write some technology based stuff, so I investigated and...
