Sunny Southbank

June 26, 2006 by Stirlyn

I was out by the Southbank in London and took this picture. I liked the mans tattoo design so I quickly snapped him. He looks determined as if he is on a mission. I can’t remember if he was looking at someone in particular or whether he was just glancing around him as he strode along the path to the side of the riverbank.

As you can tell at the time we crossed paths we were just by Gabriels Wharf where there is a nice Gourmet Pizza and some other fine eating places.tattoo.jpg

This image was created using two separate images as the sky in the original image was less than inspiring. I used The Gimp to render the sky from the second image and give him a more dramatic backdrop.

More and more reports are being written of photographers who take pictures in public places having to undergo stop and search...

Without permission, one commits an act of trespass. Until 1st June 07 this act of trespass was a civil offense, however as of this date, the offense changed to a criminal one, punishable by up to 12 months...
