Motivated Seller Cold or Creative?

January 15, 2008 by Stirlyn

I read a story this evening on Propeller about an American Realtor (Estate Agent) who organizes bus tours of Atlanta properties in foreclosure (repossessed property). Is this estate agent being creative or just really, really cold? It’s business I guess, the previous owners of the property no longer own it so the property is fair game.

Property investment is not an emotional thing. I sometimes forget that because I like finding, fixing up and restoring a property to it’s former glory. It can be quite emotional once a project is finished, and up for sale, but you just have to let go and move on and find your next investment property, so you can do it all over again.

The list of property auctions forthcoming in February will be out soon, and there should be some catalogues online for any forthcoming January property auctions, if not already certainly within the next few days.

Good luck finding that “motivated seller“, hope you pick yourself up an auction property bargain.

Well folks, January is over and the property auctions are back in full swing. I haven't managed to review the lots I mentioned in the last property auction watch or the Stretton Auction from earlier this month, but as soon as I get organised I will. I should have posted the property auction list for February already, but I got very behind this week. Auctions are of course great places to pick up property at...
  • Strettons London Property Auction One To Watch
Strettons next auction in London is 4th February and there are quite a few south London properties in this sale. London property auctions are popular, and Strettons often have upwards of 500 people attend their sales. On the day, I am sure Strettons will achieve their customary success, selling the greater portion of the catalogue to property bargain hunters who will attend the New Connaught Rooms in London's west end for the sale. There are...

That is a pretty creative tactic indeed. The American’s generally do take more of a ‘cold’ approach business.
