Monetize your blog with PPP
March 8, 2007 by Stirlyn
PayPerPost (PPP) offers people with blogs the opportunity to earn while the write by paying a fee for sponsored posts. Unlike some other providers, PPP only charge a service markup of 35% per offering.
There are a number of players in the market place that help bloggers to monetize their blog. Some pay a fixed fee per post, others offer different prices for each post, and it is possible (I’ve seen the opportunities) to be offered up to $1000 for some space on your blog real estate. Of course to be eligible for that type of money, you blog needs to be achieving some high traffic and be highly ranked by either Google or Alexa.
PayPerPost require all bloggers to state that a post has been sponsored. Whether you agree with this or not it is a stipulation of their terms of service. I don’t find this to be a hindrance however, as any sponsored post I take from them is usually relevant to the areas that I write about.
For me PayPerPost is just one of many options that I am reviewing and/or using at the moment to generate income from my blog. As an aspiring writer and journalist, it helps me to maintain a writing discipline. Forces me to write something every day. In this way I amĀ even able to (loosely) claim to be a paid writer.
The process for signing up is simple. Just go you their website at www.payperpost.com and click on the link for Bloggers. Payment is not as fast as some other services I have used, but so far I have earned the most per post of any of the providers that I use. You’ll find a myriad of opportunities there so why not give them a go.

Twitter is a brilliant source of traffic for your blog. It is a micro-blogging site where users answer the simply question "What are you doing now?" using 140 or less characters. As with most social networking communities, the way to benefit from a service like this is to interect with other Twitter users by "following" them. By following someone, you get to see their status updates on your twitter home page. Suite of options make... - Who’s buzzing about your blog?

Due to problems with our current web hosting provider the regular blogs on this domain, stirlyn.co.uk, organix.stirlyn.co.uk, reviews.stirlyn.co.uk, techno.stirlyn.co.uk may not be currently available.
