Here’s hoping The Arsenal trounce Chelski this Sunday

ß

This Sunday, the London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea is a very important game for us. Currently top of the table. The Gunners are only a point ahead of ManYoo who meet Liverpool on what’s become know as a ‘Super Sunday’ in Premiership terms.

A win for us means we stay top, regardless of the other results and that is all the Arsenal players need concern themselves with. Regardless of who is playing or not playing on the opposition’s side, we need to play our game, keep it tight at the back and control the pace. Van Persie is back from injury and Cesc Fabregas will play as well if passed fit. It’s a crucial game, but I am confident we can do it.

Go on you Gunners!!!

It was a hard game, with lots of crunching tackles, I lost count of how many yellow cards. One touch too many around the box football at one end, and Chelsea's lack of creativity, a lack-lustre Lampard, injured Terry, lots of boos for Ashley Cole and one goal from the captain all contrived to give Arsenal a victory over their London rivals. We stay top. Job done....

  • Paint Bawling!!!
Last Saturday saw 19 of us venture down to Effingham in Surrey, to the Delta Force Paintballing center, to celebrate with nephew Andre, his birthday. He has reached the ripe old age of 13, so what better way to mark the ascension, than with a foray into violence real-time, none of that virtual nonsense, that's for little kids. Along with 12 of his mates, the seven adults prepared for what we anticipated would be an...
  • Abolition Bicentenary Happy Freedom day?
Today my brother called me to wish me a happy Freedom day. He was of course referring to the marking today, of the 200 year anniversary of the [tag]Abolition of the Slave Trade[/tag] by the [tag]British Parliament[/tag] in 1807. Though I understood his sentiments, I was at pains to point out to him that in the case of our ancestors (in [tag]Jamaica[/tag] at least) actual freedom or Emancipation didn't actually arrive until August 1, 1838....

I've been tagged to let you know eight things about myself. Tiffany tagged me a few days ago, and whilst I didn't hesitate to respond in the positive, it's taken me three days to actually get around to writing it, so you know about the procrastination right! Well here goes with my eight, and I'm going to use the left brain part of me and number them otherwise I'll get carried away. I'm currently looking...

You may regret following my on Twitter, now that I’ve come here to proclaim my hope that Chelsea win at least 3-0.

    Sorry.

Nice site though…I especially like the fact you’ve picked a nice blue colour for it, rather than red and white. A subconscious wish you supported Chelsea? Everton? Gillingham? Peterborough? (OK, I’ve run out now…)

Badger, 0-3 was a tall ask when we’re playing at home. I’ll take that 1-0 thank you :)
Thanks for checking out the site, it’s funny cos blue is my favourite colour
