Consumer revenge is oh so sweet

The site is run by consumer journalist Martin Lewis whom I first heard giving advice, on the radio, to listeners about how to save money on all sorts of items. He taught us about loopholes in offers that allowed consumers to benefit, how to check for the cheapest utility provider, and my favourite, how to become a credit card ‘tart’. He’s been called everything from “The UK’s tightest man” to “The Dumbledore of debt”.

Moneysaving Expert could save you money

Martin is a journalist, not a financial adviser. He uses the site to let us know about deals, loopholes and services that can help save on household bills. In addition, Martin researches contracts and offers and informs us of our rights as consumers.

The site boasts a lively forum and you can sign up for a free newsletter that lets you know if there is a hot deal that day. I would recommend joining the newsletter service, as the hottest deals sometimes last only a few hours.

Visit moneysavingexpert.com or perhaps take a look at Martin’s Consumer help books, you never know how much he might be able to save you in the long run. I highly recommend it.
