[tag]Body hair[/tag] on women is an intriguing subject which I am currently exploring via a collaboration with a sculptural artist in a project exploring concepts around [tag]androgyny[/tag]. The project is presently focused via the medium of [tag]photography[/tag]. With the use of light and reflection we hope to produce some stunning images of women who are willing to have their body hair photographed. The focus of the [tag]artistic[/tag] project will concentrate on areas of the body from which all hair is removed by most women in western society. We hope to learn how women feel about themselves in relation to others…
I am doing a project on Androgyny and require models who are willing to take part in a photoshoot which has yet to be organised. If you are someone interested in exploring different social issues and feel you have an androgynous look, why not get in touch using the contact form There is no payment available for this project at this time, although the work is set for exhibition later in the year. You will however get a copy of at least 3 images for your portfolio. You will also be required to sign a model release.
Portrait photography is what I love doing. A portrait photography commission, whether in a studio or on location, allows both the commissioner or the portrait and me as the artist to explore different facets of your personality and sometimes of your identity. It does not matter whether you are completely outgoing, or a little apprehensive, the point is, once you are comfortable with the artist you will relax and you will be amazed at the end results.

Last night I was in [tag]Brick Lane[/tag] in East London, after spending the day in a studio that was so cold, I prayed the last client would be a no show. She duly obliged and my assistant and I packed up and headed down to [tag]Exit Bar[/tag] to have a bite to eat and warm up a lot. Little did we know as we hurriedly walked to the train station – after a lovely Lamb Burger, two plates of chips and some hot bevvys – that the cold air which caused my lungs to feel under assault, and my teeth…
I had a rather enjoyable session in the studio this week with three great volunteers who responded to my calls for models to photograph. The only problem was my technology let me down. If you have booked the studio, the models, the assistant and have lugged 10kg of gear from south to east London ready for a day long shoot, the very last thing you want to do when you get there is discover that your camera doesn’t have a sync terminal (something that all cameras who put themselves in the pro bracket should definately have).
